The nautical appraiser performs technical evaluations and estimates of pleasure boats, yachts, and motoryachts. He analyzes the state of preservation, mechanical and electronic condition, technical documentation, and any anomalies, providing an objective opinion that can be used for buying and selling, insurance, or litigation.

I deal with any boat, from small powerboats to luxury yachts, with particular experience in wooden and historic boats such as Riva or Chris-Craft. My activity also covers modern units and multihulls, both in Italy and Europe.

Registration with the Chamber of Commerce's Roll of Surveyors and Experts guarantees competence, reliability and legal recognition. Only a registered appraiser can prepare official appraisals that are valid in court, with insurance companies, or for financial transactions.

Appraisals can be used for:
- Sales and purchases, to establish the real value of the vessel
- Insurance, to define correct coverage and premiums
- litigation or claims, as an official technical document
- asset valuations for leasing or financing

A reliable appraiser combines technical experience, transparency and independence. My activity is supported by more than 12 years of experience, registration in the Register of Appraisers, collaboration with private individuals, insurance companies and law firms, and institutional assignments as a technical advisor for the Italian Motorsport Federation (FIM), which confirm my impartiality and professionalism.

Having an experienced friend is helpful, but an official appraisal is a whole other thing!
A registered boat surveyor gives you a valid, unbiased document that is useful for buying and selling, insurance or litigation. He also checks what the eye can't see, so you really know what you're getting your hands on. Bottom line: an opinion counts, an appraisal protects.

The marine surveyor performs a visual and functional check of the engine apparatus as part of the general inspection of the boat.

However, the thorough technical inspection of the engine must be carried out by an authorized workshop or an official motorist of the manufacturer.

The appraiser:
- Check the general status of the installation
- Check for visible abnormalities, corrosion, or leaks
- Review maintenance documentation
- Assesses consistency between claimed hours of operation and overall condition

Specialized mechanical diagnosis (pressures, compressions, ECUs, electronic analysis, etc.), on the other hand, is the responsibility of the brand's official technician, who can issue a dedicated technical report.
